Cultivator KL-1

The KL-1 cultivator is a towed seedbed maker. In one pass, the cultivator performs 5 operations: loosening, smoothing, packing of soil, breaking up of clods, combing out of weeds. It ensures increased productivity and significant reduction of energy and labor costs for secondary tillage.

Aggregated with tractors of class 3 (T-150 T-4). The KL-1 cultivator is equipped with high-strength S-shaped spring rippers manufactured by LA PINA (Spain), as well as smoothing, soil packing and combing out devices. S-shaped spring rippers are equipped with center hoes with a grasp width of 100 mm, which enables to loosen and cut weeds. It is possible to use chisels for furrowing or detention of moisture in the soil.

Vibration of operative parts loosens the soil to a fine-dispersed state. Original operative parts used in combination with soil packing, smoothing and combing out devices provide high-quality tillage.

The KL-1 cultivator is easy and reliable to operate. Control over the technological process is carried out from the tractor cab.

The design of the cultivator enables to easily access places of service. The depth of working is regulated by a machine operator without any effort. The cultivator is perfectly designed for transportation on roads – the sections of the cultivator easily fold up into a compact structure. The cultivator is equipped with retro-reflectors.

In 2009-2010, the KL-1 cultivator was exhibited at the largest specialized exhibition "Golden Autumn" in Moscow where it was awarded the highest prizes – a silver medal in 2009 and a bronze medal in 2010.
