Fire-Fighting Foam Lifters
Fire-fighting foam lifters are used to deliver water and low, medium and high expansion mechanical foam for fire extinguishing in tanks with oil and petroleum products, at processing stations of the oil and petrochemical industry, in industrial and residential buildings.
The foam lifting equipment is mounted on a KAMAZ truck chassis with an enhanced cross-country capacity and on other chassis.
The lineup includes three models of fire-fighting foam lifters PPP-21, PPP-32, and PPP-38. Depending on their modification, foam lifters are equipped with a three- or four-throw boom the end section of which carries a rotating platform with quick-detachable fire-extinguishing equipment:
- a unit for combination fire extinguishing – UKTP "Purga-60", "Purga-30"
- fire-fighting monitors PLS-60, PLS-20 (or any other optional monitor)
- a rack to fasten four generators GPS-2000 (the same rack can hold an appropriate number of water pipes or sprayers to deliver water with a discharge rate under 70 l/s)
Fire-fighting foam lifters can be equipped with a video surveillance system.
Fire-fighting foam lifters feature a pump which makes for a stable operation of removable fire extinguishing equipment ensuring a rated pressure and flow rate of required fire-fighting foam.
Water is supplied and its optimum discharge rate is regulated by PNS-110, one ANR-100-3000, or by two ATs-40.
Foam lifters are controlled distantly via a remote-control console at a distance of 50-100 m.
Foam lifters are operated by a crew of 2 persons (a driver and an operator).
Foam lifters are used at the temperatures from –40º С to +40º С.
